Barcelona
Manchester United
AC Milan
Arsenal
Napoli
Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid
Inter Milan
Manchester City
Chelsea
Porto
Tottenham
PSV Eindhoven
Roma
Estudiantes
Fluminense
Lille
PSG
Shakhtar Donetsk
Copenhagen
Atlas
Villarreal
Zenit St Petersburg
Lazio
Udinese

After the past weekend there might be a bit of a shuffle. I have to disagree on some of these placings. For one, Napoli has had a great season thus far but Borussia Dortmund has been sensational. They have totally dominated Germany so far and have hardly slipped up. They have ever presently been better than Napoli this year in my opinion, even within the past couple weeks. I actually would give them 4th spot based on their year. The ever improving Udinese is really getting up the table and should climb much higher than that 25th place. Chelsea continue to stutter, should they lose their top 10 place? Surely Inter may find themselves in the top 6? What about Arsenal and Man United? after losing a 4 goal lead and ending a 29 unbeaten streak respectively, should their position be lowered? One thing is for sure, Barcelona has been the best for the past two months comfortably and deservedly are number one! Give me your ideas on this.

  1. Good thoughts on the top 25 in my opinion. I agree with pretty much everything you pointed out. I rate Napoli highly due to their fluent football and good attacking capabilities with the likes of Cavani, Hamsik and co. But Dortmund has been stunning as well, so if they switched places in the top 25 that wouldn't be too terrible. Arsenal bothers me at #4 as well because a team that highly rated must be able to consistently win, and Arsenal's record is so up and down, littered with foolish draws. Chelsea have been atrocious for ages now, and most definitely are overrated in this top 25, and should be much lower for sure. Their reputation/name is the only thing which still has them rated that highly in the table in my opinion. Lastly, I definitely agree with your thoughts on Udinese, they are in form and will probably rise, while I personally believe Lazio will continue to struggle to stay in the Serie A's top 4, and most likely will drop out of this top 25 list sooner than many may think.

  2. to be honest, i have no problem with this list except for one thing... and that is Chelsea. Top 10? furthermore top 25? on current form? i think Tommy's being bias cause they're a top four team in EPL but Chelsea's play has been awful this season. They've not been working as a unit, Drogba has been his best, Essien, Mikel, Lampard nothing short of ordinary. Chelsea has simply not been a top 25 side...fullstop. Blackpool has been a better side than them and not even they deserve top 25. So thats my only problem.
